Welcome Mr. Coyote!

Orientation welcomes a new employee into your organization, but a successful onboarding plan takes that many steps farther. It is the last stage of the recruitment process and the first step toward long-term retention. It is a plan that integrates employees into their new work environment and oversees their progress in that critical first year of employment. A comprehensive onboarding plan should include identifying the career path for the employee, start the transition of your company culture, incorporate goal setting and evaluating what that employee needs to be successful in your organization. A recent survey by BlueSteps found that a majority of U.S. executives received no formal workplace onboarding and those that did rated the programs received with an average score of 59.
