Furhat Robotics, an artificial intelligence company, has developed a “human-like” computer interface that mimics the way we speak as well as our subtle facial expressions to conduct employee job interviews. The thought behind the project is to eliminate the unconscious biases that managers and recruiters often bring to the hiring process while still making the experience “seem human”. Although subjective bias (a tendency to hire people that share our traits) is a known element in hiring, AcuMax prefers to offset that bias with Position Profiles inspired by several contributors, interview questions based on candidate survey results and the recommendation that more than 1 company representative participate in the interview for balance and to pick up on nuances during the interview process. If you need assistance with employee interviews and don’t want to go the robot route … contact your AcuMax consultant (we are human) who will be glad to provide suggestions to improve and balance your hiring process.
